Munster can grab bonus at home with Castres ruled out

THERE are those clubs that have shed the stereotype that the French don't travel well. Castres are not one of them.

There was a measure of resistance in the first-half of their away assignment at Northampton Saints. Then, they collapsed calamitously to plunge to a 45-0 defeat.

They are out of the competition and out of motivation.

This is all the encouragement Munster needs to put in their first comprehensive home win of the competition to go beside two unflattering victories against the Saints (23-21) and the Scarlets (19-13).

The prospect of a snarling Northampton at Franklin Gardens in the final round makes a five-point return a necessity more than a luxury to have a solid shot at securing a home quarter-final.
