Connacht have won eight of their last ten Challenge Cup matches in France.

The unbelievable 80% return has something to do with the value clubs like Bordeaux-Begles place on this competition.

"We know that a win of any description will secure a quarter final spot", said coach Andy Friend.

"We will be sticking to the approach that has served us well this season and we will be focusing on our own game."

Quinn Roux will captain from the engine room and ex-Ireland U20 scrum-half Stephen Kerins will make his debut. David Horwitz completes the half-back partnership as Caolin Blade and Jack Carty are held back for the bench.
