JJ Hanrahan the key for Munster

WHAT a cracker Munster v Glasgow promises to be tomorrow (KO7.15, Sky Sports3), despite the more marketable international matches taking place.

The omens look good for Munster. They have won their last four in the PRO12 and their last seven at Musgrave.

However, Glasgow, the leaders, have become something of a bogey side for the southern province losing just once in their last five.

It is a shame that such a pivotal fixture takes place on the same weekend so many of the top players will be occupied with the Six Nations.

Coach Anthony Foley won't have to be told this is an eight-pointer as third-place Munster trail The Warriors by four points with the carrot of first place dangling temptingly in front of them.

The foundations will be laid out by the forward pack, Argentina hooker Eusebio Guinazu signing on to the end of the season.

The use of JJ Hanrahan is key to how they operate in attack. He provides an extra dimension to a club not exactly known for it.

VERDICT: Munster
