Captain Jamie Heaslip is adamant Leinster cannot get side-tracked by Paul O'Connell's (inset) return to Dublin in the red jersey of Toulon.

"Obviously, there will be the hype around Paulie and his return to these shores to take on an Irish team," he said.

Leinster will surely push to move the home tie to the Aviva Stadium given the spectator appeal of the Toulon travelling roadshow in what would be a guaranteed sell-out.

"Leaving Paul aside, Toulon are a formidable outfit and have recruited really well once again," said Heaslip.

The man from Naas felt duty bound to look at the totality of Leinster's challenge to escape Pool 5, immediately christened 'The Pool of Death' for next season with the inclusion of two English clubs.

"Bath finished out the year very well and on another day could have been in Tier 1 as Premiership winners, while Wasps were the leading try scorers in the Premiership," he added.
