Iosagáin girls get to Play!

Over the past six weeks the girls from fourth and fifth year at Coláiste íosagáin secondary school have taken part in the "Girls Play Rugby" programme, run by Leinster Rugby in partnership with Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council (DLRCC).

The girls demonstrated great athleticism and talent during the program which can be attributed to the coaching staff and teachers at the school who practice other sporting activities.

Leinster Rugby and DLRCC look forward to working with Coláiste íosagáin in the coming future with the hope of them entering into some Leinster TAG Rugby competitions.

It is hoped the introduction of this programme may urge some students to join their local ladies rugby team.
