Gatland's got just the side to let Lievremont off the hook

france coach Marc Lievremont now stands on the precipice. The French Federation must be right at the edge of a decision on his tenure as their head coach. He is limited in experience; even more lacking in common sense.

Wales coach Warren Gatland benefited from the fall of the ball and an incompetent Scottish touch judge in Cardiff last Saturday. They didn't win that match. It was taken from Ireland.

Despite the hoopla, Wales will recede back to their previous place as an inconsistent country which has stayed too long with the same coach unless they can win in Paris and force the French to hand Lievremont his P45.

Verdict: France.
