French to burn Scots

IF ever Scotland needed to evoke heroic deeds of the past, it is as they face the World Cup finalists, following defeats to England and Wales.

Coach Andy Robinson seems to have taken a feather out of Warren Gatland's cap in selecting three players across his backline of 16 stones or heavier in Graeme Morrison and the brothers Lamont, Rory and Sean.

The problem for the Scots is that France never moved out of first gear against Italy on day one. If coach Philippe Saint-Andre can instil a win-it and keep-it attitude, this could get ugly early because of the firepower of the French.
