Fitzpatrick can fit bill
Ireland v Scotland, Ashbourne RFC, Tonight (KO 7.30)
IRELAND would be on course for a Grand Slam showdown were it not for their one-point (8-7) defeat in France.
These are the margins between hope and glory.
Coach Philip Doyle gives hooker Paula Fitzpatrick her first start of the Six Nations in what is the only change to the Irish side.
As it stands, Ireland come into this one off the back of an outstanding 36-0 whitewash of Wales, which has them ranked third in the table.
"The win over Wales was fantastic and we enjoyed it but next day the focus switched to Scotland," said Doyle.
"We have put ourselves in a good position and the girls are playing some great rugby."
