Eoin Reddan to make his play for Ireland
Leinster scrum-half Eoin Reddan has recovered from a medial knee ligament injury to come into contention for game time against Zebre in the PRO12 League at The RDS on Friday night.
The Limerick man will have one opportunity to convince Ireland coach Joe Schmidt that he is ready to be reinstalled as the natural back-up to Conor Murray ahead of the six Nations international against England on Sunday week.
Centre Gordon D'Arcy and wing Zane Kirchner have also peen passed fit from injury to be available too.
Hooker Richardt Strauss, lock Tom Denton and centre Noel Reid have all been ruled out as they follow their return-to-play protocols from concussions against The Dragons on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Connacht scrum-half Kieran Marmion sustained a grade 1 AC joint sprain during the opening half of Sunday's PRO12 defeat by the Scarlets.
The scrum half will miss this week's game against the Dragons but is expected to return to play next week.
Out-half Crag Ronaldson has returned to full training following the quad injury he sustained prior to the Exeter game in January.
