Coolmine at the double to clinch league crown for second time in as many years
Coolmine celebrated their second league victory in a row on Sunday after a tense home clash with fourth place Tullow. It was a must-win game with second-place Newbridge hot on their heels just a point behind them.
It was a big ask -- after last season's title win and promotion under Bernard Jackman -- for the first XV to repeat their success again this year under the watchful eye of Willie Anderson.
A large crowd turned up on the day to support the Dublin 15 side and were delighted with the 23-0 victory.
Afterwards, captain Ollie Prunty was presented with the Leinster Division 1B trophy by IRFU president John Callaghan and Coolmine will now turn their attentions to their Spencer Cup campaign in hope of achieving a historic double. A big thanks to everyone for their support.
