Leinster's lost son Cian Kelleher will make his Connacht debut when the champions kick-off the defence of their PRO12 title at home to Glasgow this evening (Live SS1, 5.15)

The return of Eoin Griffin should fill in some of the hole left by the departure of Robbie Henshaw.

This is also an important season for Ultan Dillane as the Tralee man looks to move into Joe Schmidt's first team.

Gregor Townsend selection strongly suggests Glasgow will be taking no prisoners in what should be a barnstormer.

Connacht: C Kelleher; N Adeolokun, E Griffin, B Aki, M Healy; J Carty, C Blade; D Buckley, T McCartney, F Bealham, U Dillane, D Qualter, E McKeon, N Fox-Matamua, J Muldoon (capt).

Glasgow: S Hogg; L Sarto, A Dunbar, S Johnson, T Seymour; P Horne, H Pyrgos; G Reid, P MacArthur, Z Fagerson, T Swinson, J Gray (capt), R Harley, S Favaro, R Wilson.

Verdict: Glasgow

Rassie Erasmus will begin Munster's revolution in West Wales where The Scarlets will be a tough nut to crack this afternoon (Sky Sports 1, 3.0).

The South African has embraced the possibilities of inexperience by talking in glowing terms about wing Darren Sweetnam and handing Dan Goggin the number thirteen shirt as Billy Holland leads from the engine room.

Scarlets: L Williams; DTH van der Merwe, S Williams, H Parkes, S Evans; R Patchell, G Davies; D Evans, K Owens (capt), W Kruger, J Ball, L Rawlins, A Shingler, J Barclay, J Macleod.

Munster: S Zebo; D Sweetnam, D Goggin, R Scannell, R O'Mahony; T Bleyendaal, D Williams; J Cronin, N Scannell, J Ryan, D Foley, B Holland (capt), D O'Callaghan, T O'Donnell, J O'Donoghue.

Verdict: Scarlets
