Ronnie O'Sullivan is the bookies' favourite to win the World Snooker Championship, which gets under way at the Crucible next week.

Aged 43, O'Sullivan is showing no signs of slowing down and is a best-priced 5/2 to win his sixth world title.

'The Rocket' has won three ranking events this season, including a record seventh UK Championship victory for his 19th Triple Crown title, also a record.

Neil Robertson - who has also claimed three ranking titles this season - is available at 6/1, as is Judd Trump while Mark Selby is 10/1.

Mark Williams became the second oldest world champion in history last year, but at 22/1, he is a slight outsider to retain his crown.
