Ravens strive to give kids a leg up

FINGAL Ravens want to install a new juvenile all-weather pitch.

They have a big fund-raiser on Saturday, November 29 at the Fairyhouse Premier Jumps Winter Festival.

Tickets cost €100. For that, you get transport, admission, meal, admission to the exclusive Jameson Bar and post-race entertainment.

For more information, please contact Alan Manning (087-0651219) or Joe Kettle (086-8164861).

They have asked the community for a big response. They won't be disappointed.

Ravens, of course, are the club of the county chairman, Andy Kettle.

One of their most famous players, Dublin's Darren Daly, got married last Friday.

He married Paul Flynn's sister, Sarah. Flynner is All-Star royalty.

Paul's nephew, Cian Daly, the Dublin U21, is another Fingal footballer.

The club are trying to raise €150,000 for the project.
