KEITH Tighe refereed Friday night's AFL Division 1 final. He did a super job.
Keith (inset) will have the running shoes on this Sunday in the 'Dash For Dan.'
Dan is Keith's little boy. He suffers from Sotos Syndrome, which causes a host of health issues.
The 'Dash For Dan' is a 3k Fun Fun which is being hosted by St Anne's and Shane Smith Fitness.
It will leave the St Anne's club at 2pm and all are welcome to take part. You don't have to run. It can be a nice Sunday stroll for all the family.
"Dan is a happy child and he is doing well," says Keith, who'd love to see a huge crowd turn out for the brave little man.
CUALA hurler, Shane O'Brien, is the new Dublin senior camogie manager.
Shane was part of Colum King's management ticket last season.
Earlier this month, he helped Cuala win Division 9 of the AHL.
PILLAR Caffrey (inset) was out in the Russell Park rain on Friday night.
The former Dublin boss steered Na Fianna to the AFL Division 1 crown.
The Glasnevin side edged clear in the crucial last chapters as they hit a pocket of telling scores.
But even as the play was at the other end of the pitch deep in that second period, Pillar was busy making sure the Mobhi back door remained bolted.
Like all the top managers, the Pillar knows that the best teams are built from the back.
THERE'S a very important hurling meeting in Parnell Park tonight (8.0).
All Dublin hurling delegates are urged to attend. The agenda contains critical business for the 2015 season.
A super season for Naomh Maur.
Senior B Football champions and reaching the AFL Division 1 final.
They have been a fine side for many years now. They always play a fast, exciting style of football.
And it was marvellous to see the big support they brought to Russell Park last Friday night.
