Woods agent arrested for drink driving

GOLF: Tiger Woods' agent, Mark Steinberg, has been arrested on drunk driving charges in suburban New York.

Police said Steinberg was stopped at a sobriety checkpoint on Saturday night in Ardsley and arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated. Sgt David Fisher said Steinberg was arrested after completing the test. Police say his blood alcohol content was .18pc. The legal limit in New York is .08pc.

Woods says he spoke to Steinberg before yesterday's final round at the Memorial. Woods, who won the tournament, declined to comment further.

Wilko inspires Toulon to final

RUGBY: Jonny Wilkinson kicked Toulon into the French Top 14 final where they will meet Toulouse. The former England fly-half scored all of his side's points in a surprise 15-12 win over Clermont Auvergne at the Stade Municipale.

Wilkinson defied the difficult conditions to land the winning 77th-minute penalty and they survived when Morgan Parra had a chance to take the clash to extra-time, but the France scrum-half's effort fell agonisingly short of the target.

Toulouse booked their passage to next week's Stade de France finale with a 24-15 win over Castres on Saturday.
