Van Gerwen record on the line

Michael van Gerwen (pictured) will put his unbeaten record in this year's Betway Premier League Darts on the line in Dublin this evening when he takes on fellow Dutchman Raymond van Barneveld in the pick of the games in the 3Arena.

After five wins and two draws, Van Gerwen takes on the reigning champion in what could be a crucial game for Van Barneveld as he tries to avoid elimination when the bottom two players exit the tournament next week in Manchester.

Proceedings get underway when Adrian Lewis, also fighting for survival takes on Dave Chisnall who currently sits in third place in the table, while a win for Phil Taylor in the final game would seal Kim Huybrecht's fate and give him no chance of making it past next week's round.

Current World Champion Gary Anderson is also on show this evening and he faces a tricky assignment against former BDO World Champion Stephen Bunting, while in the other game Peter Wright faces James Wade.
