Saunders' young son kicks off at weigh-in
Fighters often come to blows at weigh-ins but yesterday it was Billy Joe Saunders' young son who was throwing his weight around.
As Saunders and opponent Willie Monroe Jr squared up on the stage ahead of their WBO middleweight fight, son Stevie - reported to be seven - stepped in between them.
When Monroe ruffled his hair, the boy hit him below the belt and then aim a kick at him before being ushered away by security.
Defending his son's antics, Saunders Snr tweeted: "My sons been taught when A stranger puts their hands on them... punch and run away self defence."
Englishman Saunders has been told a unification fight with Gennady Golovkin - who defends his WBA, WBC and IBF titles in tonight's Las Vegas superfight with Saul Alvarez - is essentially a "done deal".
