Kelly and Keenan claim top awards

BASKETBALL: The Arena played host to a basketball bonanza last week as the 2011 Award Winners were recognised.

Some of the award highlights saw Paddy Kelly named Nivea For Men's SuperLeague Player of the Year after helping the famous Dublin club to yet another league triumph last March.

Rachel Vanderwal claimed the women's equivalent after her role in UL's title success.

Mark Keenan may have departed Killester for UL this summer but his role in leading the Northsiders to more silverware last term was rewarded with the coach of the year award.
