In brief: Nivea For Men's SuperLeague

TONIGHT

Nivea For Men's SuperLeague

Bord Gáis Neptune (Cork) v Moycullen (Galway), Neptune Stadium, 7.0

Neptune are making a timely return to form and will be favourites to see off Moycullen and maintain the pressure on the Southern Conference second-placed team, Demons.

Moycullen were 0.8 seconds away from recording just their second win of the season at home to Belfast Star last time out but were denied victory by a late comeback.

Belfast Star (Belfast) v DCU Saints (Dublin), De La Salle College, Anderstown, 7.15

Belfast are favourites to claim third spot and the final Northern Conference play-off place on offer after their heroics of last weekend.

Back-to-back wins over Moycullen and UCD Marian has seen them close the gap on the latter to five points but they have the luxury of having three games in hand on the Students.

The Saints are currently enjoying championship form, claiming five wins out of their last six games, and can confirm second place with victory in Belfast.

UL Eagles (Limerick) v Ulster Elks (Belfast), UL PESS Building, 7.30

UL Eagles are on the back of a miserable week after defeats by Demons and Killester respectively.

The Eagles will be desperate to get their hopes of claiming the Southern Conference back on track and will be hopeful their American Cameron Mitchell will be fit.

Elks will be looking to arrest a worrying slide of three successive defeats.

11890 Killester (Dublin) v UCC Demons (Cork), IWA Clontarf, 8.0

Killester's season is firmly back on track after recording three successive league wins since their National Cup final heartache.

Their most recent win at UL Eagles confirmed their status as Northern Conference champions, which will now ensure home advantage in the semi-finals.

Demons are in with an outside chance of claiming the Southern Conference after wins over UL and Ulster Elks.

UL v 11890 Killester, UL PESS Building, 5.0

UL can wrap up the regular season trophy if they can secure their ninth league win in a row at the expense of Killester.

Killester produced a fine second-half display against DCU Mercy last time but will be without Jenny McGrath, Fiona Carrick, Ali Maguire and Fiona Ward this week.

TOMORROW

Nivea For Men's SuperLeague

11890 Killester v Belfast Star, IWA Clontarf, 7.0

Killester will be keen to atone for the defeat they suffered to Belfast at the start of the year.

On that occasion a wonder show of 38 points from Clayton Longmire inspired Star to a famous 75-67 success.

Meteors v Waterford Wildcats, Coláiste Eoin/íosagáin, 3.0

Meteors will be desperate to avoid finishing bottom of the table but they will be tested by a Wildcats side impressing recently.

The narrow gap that exists between these sides was evident in January when Wildcats earned a three-point win.

DCU Mercy v Black Forge Oblate Dynamos, DCU Sports Complex, 3.30

Mercy and Dynamos is the pick of the weekend games as both teams are set for the play-offs. Mercy will be keen for improved performances after stuttering displays against Wildcats and Killester recently, while Dynamos have made a huge impact since their return to the top flight.
