Halep facing match pile-up
Defending French Open champion Simona Halep (inset) might have to play three matches in three days as a result of yesterday's washout in Paris.
With the Johanna Konta v Marketa Vondrousova semi-final having been displaced from today's schedule, it means both of the women's last-four clashes - along with the men's - will have to be played in Roland Garros tomorrow, so long as the weather relents.
Novak Djokovic was also among those who had been due to play yesterday but rain from lunchtime meant the covers stayed on.
The remaining quarter-finals in the men's and women's draws - Djokovic v Alexander Zverez, Dominic Thiem v Karen Khachanov, Halep v Amanda Anisimova and Madison Keys v Ashleigh Barty - are scheduled to be played today.
The weather is due to relent today but more rain is forecast for tomorrow.
