New boss O'Reilly has test from Down Under

THE Ireland Under-18 Schools international side will kick-off their 2015 campaign with a test game against Australia in January.

This will be the Southern Hemisphere side's fourth visit to the capital in seven years.

The hosts go into the clash in Dublin on Monday January 26 looking to avenge a defeat in 2012, while the schoolboys in green were victorious in 2010 following a draw two years earlier.

Last year a Leinster selection represented Ireland and came away with the victory from a clash with New Zealand.

It's an exciting first test for debut-season boss Paddy O'Reilly.

The Trinity Comprehensive School man joined as a coach last season. With the roles rotating every two years, Finn Harps boss Ollie Horgan is now assistant, with Dave Archbold of Palmerstown CS the coach.

Richie Fitzgibbon is goalkeeper coach and Micky McGlynn is the kitman for 2015.
