Nissan is delighted to be the official car sponsor for the Vhi Women's Mini Marathon, the largest all women's event of its kind in the world.

At Nissan, we have innovation and excitement at the core of everything we do, and the ultimate aim is to make things easier and safer for you.

So, we would like to make things easier and simpler for you on race day. We appreciate that you are doing all the hard work with training and fundraising for the charities involved.

Which is why, once again this year, Nissan Ireland is delighted to announce that we are going to run a courtesy car service on race day Monday June 1.

We want to make getting to the race as stress-free as possible. Therefore, we will have pick up and drop off points around Dublin at Heuston Station and Connolly Station, or if you see an empty one drive by, flag it down, and then, you only need your race number to get in.

We will be collecting people and bringing them to the race starting areas.

Last year, we asked you to take selfies and the best one would win a €250 donation towards their chosen charity. We saw some pretty great shots, so we can't wait to see this year's #NissanFreeLift photos.

So on June 1, why not save your legs before the race and find the nearest Nissan courtesy car to take you to the starting area?

You may get to experience the 100pc electric Nissan LEAF for the first time or perhaps you'll get a lift in the stylish Juke, the exciting hatchback that is the Nissan Pulsar or the family friendly Nissan NOTE.

Or maybe you'll be one of many to fall in love with popular Nissan Qashqai.

Then again, maybe six of you will pile into the award-winning Nissan X-Trail. Last but not least, who could forget the classic MICRA.

And of course, you will want to sit down and rest your legs (deservingly so) after the race, which is why there will be a courtesy car service on offer from the finish area.

After you do the marvellous job of running, jogging and walking 10km, Nissan want you to do something a little easier and let us help you rest your feet and get you to where you are going.

We want to make it as easy as possible for you to get around, just as we like to make it as easy as possible to get into a new Nissan with Nissan GO PCP. To find out more, see Nissan.ie.

PS. Don't forget that every single participant in the Vhi Women's Mini Marathon is entered into a draw to win a brand new Nissan Micra (it's not just for the winners!). So every one of you has an equal chance on June 1.
