McGeady fit again after injury scare
AIDEN McGEADY has rejoined his Spartak Moscow team-mates for a pre-season training camp in a bid to overcome his shin injury.
McGeady picked up an injury during a pre-season training camp in Spain last week and the player was allowed to fly to Scotland for treatment while the rest of the players returned to Moscow before returning to Spain for another training camp.
The Ireland international wasn't involved as Spartak beat Dynamo Kiev 2-0 in a friendly game in Marbella but he will work on his fitness this week.
McGeady was last week named in Ireland's 24-man squad for the friendly against the Czech Republic at the Aviva Stadium later this month and the winger is battling to be fit for that game as well as the re-start of the Russian league season on March 4th following a winter break.
