Larkin points way for Jude's

St Jude's 0-15; Craobh Chiaráin 0-8

ST JUDE'S recorded a crucial 0-15 to 0-8 win over Craobh Chiaráin in their Dublin Adult Hurling League Division 1 encounter at Tymon North last night.

In doing so, the Templeogue outfit eased their relegation concerns and now share bottom spot alongside both Naomh Mearnóg and St Brigid's.

The dependable Stephen Larkin's accuracy from placed balls the difference between the sides last night. Larkin hit 0-7 over the hour as Jude's gained the ascendancy from early on with Craobh's full-back line of Alan Brophy, Eugene Farrell and Damien O'Reilly working wonders in damage limitation.

However, scores by Ronan Joyce and John Ryan ensured the hosts were rewarded for their dominance and despite points from Keith Ryan and Robbie Mahon, the visitors failed to unduly trouble a Jude's defence in which Gareth Roche and Alan O'Beirne shone.
