Set your clocks for Big Ben to strike at the right time

My three runners at Galway today all ran here earlier in the week, none of the three managed to win, but I'd be hopeful that we won't be going home empty handed.

We've declared Camlann again and he's on course to run at the Galway Festival three times for a second year in a row. He won here last year on his third run and let's hope it is third time lucky with him again this evening.

Our stable star Hidden Cyclone will be back in action and despite having top weight, I think he can still get his head back in front. He was terribly unlucky here on Monday night as he just didn't get out of the stalls but still ran on well to finish close to the leaders and that form hasn't worked out too bad already.

He's the class horse in the race and he is still rated a fraction lower over hurdles than fences so with the great prize money on offer, you have to take your chance.

In the opening race I'm starting Motcomb Street off over hurdles but it is a hot maiden hurdle. There's plenty of horses in there with good point-to-point and bumper form but it's Big Ben, a Curragh maiden winner on the Flat, that I think can be another winner for Joseph O'Brien and Barry Geraghty.

Big Ben already had a run over hurdles last year so he won't lack in experience but my horse runs well and I still expect to see him run well.

I'm not the only one that will have repeat runners here this week and there's a few of them that can fare out a bit better over the weekend than they did earlier in the week.

Brian Ellison has won the big Ahonoora Handicap tomorrow for the last three years with Baraweez winning it twice and I think he'll do it again tomorrow.

He wasn't beaten that far by Riven Light the other night and he's down to a rating lower than he won the race off before so I'd go with him.

Willie is going to run Shaneshill again. If he hadn't made a few mistakes late on, he'd have been closer in the Plate. He looks to capable of winning the big chase tomorrow.
