The 7lbs conditional rider Darragh O'Keeffe has been making a big impression over the summer months and his rise to prominence could continue at Clonmel today.

All the races on the card today have conditions to the riders who can ride in them, with a view to giving some more opportunities to jockeys who aren't as busy as the seasoned professionals.

O'Keeffe would already be an early contender for champion conditional this season despite the fact that he has only had seven winners in his career.

But the support of an owner like JP McManus is a big plus for him.

McManus doesn't supply O'Keeffe with his rides today but fresh from riding a winner for Liam Burke at Galway on Monday, the promising rider can today guide Indian Music to victory for Burke.

The five-year-old makes her handicap debut in the Giantsgrave Handicap Hurdle and she shaped with enough promise in a maiden on her last start to suggest she could give a good account in this sort of race.

A more tentative choice then follows as The Princetonian is picked to claim the Kilsheelan Mares Maiden Hurdle for Jessica Harrington.

Considering some of her bumper form it is largely disappointing that The Princetonian hasn't visited the winners' enclosure yet but with hurdling experience now in the bank after a run a Down Royal last month, hopefully she can break her duck with O'Keeffe taking that valuable 7lbs off.

Plenty of rain is due Clonmel today so the good to firm in the going description is likely to ease considerably and every drop that falls such aid the chances of Brex Drago bringing up a hat-trick for Gavin Cromwell in the New Inn Opportunity Rated Novice Hurdle.

A winner at Listowel last week on very testing ground, Brien Kane gets a good tune out of Brex Drago and her progress could well continue here.

Gordon Elliott's Boris Grishenko might appreciate stepping up in trip for the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Handicap Hurdle and it's Elliott's racecourse newcomer Cara's Way that is tipped up in the last.

The Gigginstown-owned runner didn't complete her only point-to-point start but she comes from a good family and is a half sister to a couple of decent horses who won bumpers.

The market might give the best guide to that race but she's worth watching.
