Bookmakers Paddy Power make the Noel Meade-trained Prima Vista the 5/1 favourite to follow up his recent Leopardstown win at the same track on Sunday in the lucrative MCR Hurdle.
A cosy winner at the interrupted Christmas Festival in the hands of Davy Condon, Meade immediately ruled out running the five-year-old under a mandatory penalty in favour of coming back for the €60,000 race.
Dermot Weld enjoyed a profitable Leopardstown as he landed the feature Paddy Power Handicap Chase with Majestic Concorde and comes back in search of another big handicap win with New Phase who carries the colours of his son Kris.
New Phase gets a quote of 8/1, the same as Tijuana Dancer, the Tony Martin trained six-year-old who was four-and-a-quarter lengths off Prima Vista last time.
The JP McManus-owned Alpine Eagle is a 16/1 chance while Leonard Whitmore is hoping for further big race joy when saddling Casey Top who receives a 20/1 quote following yesterday's latest forfeit stage.
Whitmore enjoyed plenty of glory with Brave Right and of Casey Top the Wexford trainer said: "This race has sort of been the plan because we thought that we would star back over two miles and it is a good prize.
"He runs well fresh and he ran a good race at Punchestown at the start of last year. I wouldn't say that a bit of cut is important to him -- he just wouldn't want it heavy but I'm fairly sure that it won't be."
Paddy Power have also opened a book on the Frank Ward Solicitors Arkle at Leopardstown later in the month and they make Mikael D'Haguenet the 5/2 favourite with a run.
Willie Mullins former leading novice hurdler is yet to win over fences in two starts since returning from last season off, having fallen on his debut in the Grade One Drinmore Novice Chase and then having failed to land a blow at Leopardstown over Christmas.
Realt Dubh who won at Leopardstown for Noel Meade is the 3/1 chance, while Saludos who fell at the last is an interesting looking 6/1 for Jessica Harrington.
