Jaime Sommers 'beggan for win

Course and distance winner JAIME SOMMERS (5.20, Kilbeggan) drops back in trip for the Adare Manor Opportunity Handicap Hurdle and can record a fourth career success for Michael Bowe.

Daniel Holden rides Jaime Sommers for the first time and the pair do have to defy top weight against eight rivals but the seven-year-old was seen in winning form at Tramore on her penultimate start and didn't run badly last time out over three miles which may just stretch her.

Another course and distance winner on the card that could be worth a second look is the Conor O'Dwyer-trained DON'T LET GO (6.50, Kilbeggan) in the Kilsaran Handicap Chase.

Niall Madden is in the plate as Don't Let Go has just 10st1lb on her back for this 3m1f contest and the fact that she was able to win here with an ease in the ground and run well last time when it looked a hotter race than this hopefully gives her claims of another win.

Similar to Clonmel yesterday evening and Wexford tomorrow, this card is for jockeys who haven't ridden 10 or more winners since last September and Paddy Kennedy has two solid chances.

The Kerry native is booked for Oliver McKiernan's CAPPUCCINO MAN (5.50, Kilbeggan) who returned to form to win at Downpatrick last time out and isn't without a chance here.

Then Kennedy is on the somewhat disappointing WONDEROFTHEWORLD (6.20, Kilbeggan) in the Midland Breeders Supporting Kilbeggan Beginners Chase.

Keith Clarke's charge finished closer at Downpatrick last time and after knocking on the door a few times he can finally earn his way into the winners enclosure again.

Cases could be made for a few of the runners in the opening Pat Doyle Memorial Maiden Hurdle but the nod is given to MARINE ONE (4.15, Kilbeggan).

Denis Hogan has his team in fine form in recent weeks and this son of Frankel was second to a decent sort last time out and a repeat of that form might be good enough here.

Paul Cawley's 7lbs claim is valuable and Marine One can become just the second ever son of Frankel to win over hurdles in Ireland.
