Great White Shark to take another bite

Justina can score at Galway today for Jessica Harrngton

Jody Townend enjoyed a career highlight she'll be waiting a while to match here on Monday when guiding GREAT WHITE SHARK (2.30, Galway) to victory in the Connacht Hotel Handicap and today is the turn of Paul to land a valuable prize on the Willie Mullins (inset) runner.

Great White Shark showed his ability when finishing well to land the feature on Monday and he has been relatively untested in this type of company over hurdles so could well have a lot more to give than his current handicap rating suggests.

Today is predominatly aFlat card, but the opening maiden hurdle can go the way of a very smart runner in EXIT POLL (2.00, Galway).

This fixture is always a target for Sean Mulryan and the well-known owner might have a good prospective novice on his hands as the Leopardstown bumper winner, who was put away in the spring, returns.

TIME TUNNEL (3.35, Galway) was unable to give Frankie Dettori a winner on his flying visit to Killarney last month, but the Dermot Weld-trained runner would be a welcome victor for the trainer today.

Time Tunnel may not be the most straightforward at times, but the form of that Killarney race got a boost earlier this week with the winner scoring here in midweek and Oisin Orr may be able to guide the three-year-old to a deserved success.

JUSTINA (4.45, Galway) won at Roscommon on debut and was just touched off last time out when stepping up in trip. Back over seven furlongs today may just help Justina, who can be another winner this week for Jessica Harrington.

The best potential story on the penultimate day of the fixture would be if ONE COOL POET (5.20, Galway) could win for a third time in the week.

Matthew Smith's charge runs with two 6lb penalties and has managed to draw a favourable stall on the inside in a bid to emulate Busted Tycoon, who managed to bring up the treble here a few years ago.

Smith has booked Jamie Codd for the concluding bumper, which is worth a second look, but it would be a surprise if SKYACE (5.55, Galway) couldn't build on his debut effort at Ballinrobe for Willie and Patrick Mullins.
