Capone can make an offer you won’t refuse

CAPONE can step up on a creditable effort at Lingfield last time with victory in the Follow Us On Twitter At bluesq Conditions Stakes at Wolverhampton.

The seven-year-old was with David Nicholls until the end of 2011 when he switched to the care of Nottinghamshire handler Scott Dixon.

Capone had been successful on his last start for Nicholls, winning over six furlongs at Lingfield in December, and Dixon returned to that course and distance last month.

Capone was reasonably well-fancied to make a winning bow for his new handler but had to settle for third behind Oasis Dancer after failing to get his favoured strong early gallop.

Dixon lowers his sights a little for this conditions event and Capone can take advantage of a handy pull in the weights.

Favorite Girl should be given another chance in the Bet At Blue Square Apprentice Handicap.

This Shirocco filly was returning from a 176-day break at Lingfield last month and probably just needed the race as she found a mile a bit on the sharp side too. Stepping up a furlong should help and the capable Jack Duern is in the plate.

Perlachy seems to thrive at Wolverhampton and should appreciate the return to Dunstall Park in the Mirrors Punters Club Handicap.

The eight-year-old has won seven times at the Midlands venue and was twice the victor there in November and he merits serious respect.

Biba Diva hails from a fine family and she can make amends for letting down favourite backers last time in Lingfield's Follow Us On Twitter At bluesq Handicap. While not exactly a star performer for Jeremy Noseda, Biba Diva should be on the money this time.

Gorgeous Goblin is obviously of |limited ability having yet to get his head in front in 24 starts to date.

The five-year-old does have six placed efforts to his credit though and looks to have sound claims in the Marriott Hotel At Lingfield Park Handicap.

Special Robon is one to watch in the British Stallion Studs Supporting British Racing EBF “National Hunt” Novices' Hurdle at Chepstow while Dusky Bob can strike gold in the catterickbridge.co.uk Handicap Hurdle at Catterick.
