Tyrone see off Limerick bid

Mickey Harte's Tyrone launched their backdoor All-Ireland journey with a comfortable 1-14 to 0-8 win over Limerick in Omagh.

The visitors lacked nothing in effort and a battling first half performance saw them trail by just two points at the break, 0-6 to 0-4, despite having two players black carded.

The home side upped the ante in the second half and had already secured their place in the next round by the time Peter Harte palmed the ball to the Limerick net three minute into stoppage time.
