Treacy leads Cuala to win


Seán TREACY'S 1-6 proved crucial as Cuala defeated Ballinteer St John's by 2-18 to 1-14 in their Dublin AHL1 clash at Marley Park last Saturday teatime.

With Ross Tierney, Oisín Gough and Seán Moran to the fore, Cuala confirmed their win thanks to 1-7 shared by David Treacy and Mark Schutte.

At Tymon Park, Ballyboden St Enda's beat local rivals St Jude's by 5-13 to 1-19 despite the dismissals of Finn McGarry and Conal Keaney.

In SHC 'B', St Sylvester's claimed a vital win over Boden B while Naomh Barróg beat St Vincent's comfortably.
