THE Dublin Camogie Board extends its deepest sympathy to former Executive Member and County Player, Germaine Noonan, (Naomh Uinsionn) and family on the death of her father.

p The Dublin Camogie Board joins with Coiste Atha Cliath CLG in extending its deepest sympathy to the family of GAA and Dublin legend Kevin Heffernan. Ar dheis Dé go raibh sé.

Next County Board meeting will take place at 7pm and 7.45pm in Parnell Park on Monday, February 4 at which Registrations and Regrading requests will be discussed and decided upon. Decisions from the THDC will be communicated to clubs at this meeting.

p Marie O'Brien (Naomh Jude) has been appointed chairperson of the THDC (Transfers, Hearings and Disciplinary Committee). Barbara Grennell (St Oliver Plunkett's/Eoghan Ruadh) will act as secretary to this committee. Decisions of the THDC will be communicated to the secretary of the County Board, who will then inform the relevant clubs.

Clubs are asked to contact their local councillors about the naming of the new bridge over the Liffey (Kathleen Mills). An Rúnaí has sent list of all Dublin County Councillors to club secretaries.

p The Camogie Association in conjunction with the National Referees Committee are running a pilot Hurling/Camogie 'conversion course' for current qualified hurling referees who wish to referee camogie.

Course will be held on February 5 at Aras Laigheann, Portlaoise - 7.30pm - 9.30pm. Further details on website. Please contact Garry Beagan (Referee Coordinator) @ 085174364 who will book you on course.

p Please note change of date for the under 16A and under 16B teams' start to their Leinster championship campaign to Sunday, 17 February v Wexford at a Dublin venue.

p The Minors have their first Championship games on Saturday, 23 February. The A team v Derry at a Derry venue, the B team v Offaly at a Dublin venue.

p The Juniors have their first National League Division 3 game on Sunday, February 24 v Armagh at an Armagh venue.

p The Seniors have their first National League Division 1 game v Clare on Sunday, February 24 at a Clare venue.
