DONAL O’GRADY has left Limerick hurling reeling after fulfilling his long-held promise to serve just one season as manager.

DONAL O’GRADY has left Limerick hurling reeling after fulfilling his long-held promise to serve just one season as manager.

Contrary to widespread recent speculation, the Corkman has decided not to accept the offer of an extension.

“I want to thank everyone in Limerick for their help in 2011. The players showed great commitment and the backroom staff the same. The Limerick county board couldn’t have been more helpful in terms of support and resources,” O’Grady said.
