Monaghan will contest a third consecutive Ulster final after a 1-20 to 0-13 victory over 14-man Fermanagh at Kingspan Breffni Park yesterday.
Malachy O'Rourke's men pulled away from the Ernesiders in the final quarter following the sending-off of Ryan McCluskey (left).
It had been very nip-and-tuck up until McCluskey's dismissal but Monaghan were able to put the foot on the gas in the last 10 minutes.
Both sides traded points early on in an even start but points late in the first half from Darren Hughes and Kieran Hughes meant that Monaghan led by 0-7 to 0-5 at the break.
Points from Eoin Duffy, Karl Donnelly and Conor McManus stretched the victors into a six-point lead by the 49th minute but Pete McGrath's men refused to lie down.
Fermanagh scored three on the trot before McCluskey received his marching orders 12 minutes from time and from there on in, there was only going to be one winner.
Conor McManus hit the net late on as O'Rourke's side won by a flattering 10-point win while Stephen Gollogly missed a penalty and Darren Hughes saw red for a second yellow card offence.
Next up for the winner's is an Ulster final clash with Donegal, it's the qualifiers for Fermanagh.
