Ladies' online store now open for business

THE Dublin Ladies footballers have shown themselves to be dedicated followers of fashion.

The new online O'Neills Dublin Ladies GAA store has opened its doors. Already the rush is on to capture the bargains. Players of all ages have helped design the window display and the stylish stock that fills the shelves.

Months of work went into the project, and Dublin supremo, Maureen King, is thrilled with the finished product.

"The results clearly demonstrate that our members have talent off the pitch as well as on it," she said.

Maureen went on to salute the help of Peter Hickey, of GAApics.com, and all at O'Neills Sports, their partners in this venture.

"We are very happy to be associated with this development," stated Cormac Farrell, business and marketing manager at O'Neills.

The colourful array of clothing is sure to be a big hit on the catwalk. Paul Costelloe look out!

Dublin jerseys are available in blue, pink and yellow. There's attractive tops, jackets, hoodies, polo shorts, T-shirts, pants and socks, plus much more.

You don't have to head for Harrods or have breakfast at Tiffany's.

There will be none of this shop till you drop, or trying to manage loads of bags on the DART, the LUAS or the 46A. It's all there on your own laptop, at the click of a button. As the old ad for the yellow pages stated, 'Let your fingers do the walking'.

Many of the people modelling the garments are Dublin players. "The players had a lot of fun in choosing the official merchandise which is so colourful," adds Maureen.

The fashion hot-spots of London, Paris and New York would agree. Paul Galvin would, no doubt, give the store his blessing. And the high king of Capel Street, Louis Copeland, would be applauding the sharp finish.
