Kerry's four-time All-Ireland SFC winner Darran O'Sullivan has retired from inter-county football.

O'Sullivan announcement comes in the wake of Donnchadh Walsh, Kieran Donaghy and Anthony Maher also stepping away.

The 32-year-old said: "I just want to say it has been an incredible journey. I'm lucky enough to have played with and against some of the best players and teams of this or any generation.

"I want to wish Peter Keane and his management team well for the future, it's an exciting time for Kerry football and I'm looking forward to supporting you all."

Meanwhile, Anton Tohill, son of Derry legend, Anthony, and Cork's Mark Keane have signed for Collingwood in Melbourne having impressed in the AFL Combine in UCD last December.
