Kickhams trio to face Rossies

THREE of Ballymun Kickhams' Dublin aces are carrying "niggly injuries" ahead of their All-Ireland club final on Sunday week.

However, manager Paul Curran is confident that Dean Rock, James McCarthy and Philly McMahon will all be fit to feature against Roscommon's St Brigid's.

Curran definitely won't risk McCarthy or McMahon when Kickhams travel to the 12th Lock for a Dublin AFL Division One clash with Lucan Sarsfields tonight (8.0).

"Rock might play some part on Friday; the other two won't," the manager explained. "I wouldn't be worried about them... the physio says they'll be okay, so I'm happy enough."

McCarthy twisted his ankle in a recent league game against Ballyboden St Enda's; McMahon aggravated a recent rib injury against St Vincent's last Sunday; while their top-scorer and Leinster Club Footballer of Year, Rock, has a lower back problem.
