Mattie Kenny has kept arch rivals Galway guessing with his Dublin line-up for tonight's crucial Leinster SHC round-robin finale in Parnell Park.

The Galway native has named a team that excludes Shane Barrett, after his red card reprieve, and Paul Ryan, his top scorer in Carlow.

Last night's announcement won't dampen speculation that wing-back regular Barrett and Ryan may be parachuted in for tonight's do-or-die duel.

The Central Hearings Committee had earlier rescinded Barrett's straight red card against Carlow - but his regular No 7 jersey goes to Darragh O'Connell.

Fergal Whitely is recalled after a 0-2 cameo the last day, having replaced Ryan who has tallied 0-9 (5f).

Whatever team starts, it's a challenge to embrace, reckons retired Dublin defender Niall Corcoran. "If I was a Dublin player again, I'd really fancy it," said the Galway native. "It's going to be a full house. That counts for a huge amount.

"There's always been a bit of an edge between Dublin and Galway," he added. "Both teams know each other quite well and certainly, from a Dublin perspective, there'll be no stepping back."

As expected, Joe Canning is not listed in a Galway team that includes call-ups for Darren Morrissey (replacing the suspended John Hanbury) and Johnny Coen.

DUBLIN: A Nolan; P Smyth, E O'Donnell, C Hendricken; C Crummey, S Moran, D O'Connell; S Treacy, T Connolly; C Keaney, D Sutcliffe, C Boland; F Whitely, R Hayes, E Dillon.

GALWAY: C Callanan; D Morrissey, Daithí Burke, A Harte; P Mannion, G McInerney, J Cooney; J Coen, David Burke; C Mannion, J Glynn, A Tuohy; C Whelan, J Flynn, B Concannon.
