Who will be the first name on Jim Gavin's team-sheet this Sunday? If the Dublin/Tyrone record books tell us anything, the answer to that riddle is Jack McCaffrey.

Gavin has faced Mickey Harte in a handful of league collisions over the past five seasons but just one Dub has started all five. That was McCaffrey, who featured in his customary wing-back role twice in 2013, then in 2014, 2015 and, after a one-year break caused by Tyrone's demotion, last February.

Kevin McManamon has also featured in all five encounters, albeit two of them off the bench - in the 2013 league final and then this year's meeting.

Perhaps it's a reflection of Dublin's greater spread of options, but Tyrone have slightly more ever-presents.

Both goalkeeper Niall Morgan and Colm Cavanagh have started all five meetings while Seán Cavanagh started the first four and then appeared as a second half sub last February.

Dublin's top scorer, despite making just two starts and one cameo appearance, is Dean Rock with 1-14 (10f).
