Home help can see Meath edge the Dubs
Leinster MFC Group 1: Meath v Dublin (Navan, Tonight 7.0)
Dublin will look to record their second successive victory when they face Meath in their Leinster MFC Group 1 clash at Páirc Tailteann, Navan this evening.
Both counties enjoyed handsome wins last Monday fortnight although it was only in the final quarter that Dublin assumed control as they defeated Louth by 3-15 to 1-7 in Parnell Park.
Goals from Mark O'Leary, Conor Murray and Liam Dunne in the concluding 15 minutes proved flattering in some respects but it was encouraging to see Dublin show a ruthless streak to punish an increasingly ragged Louth outfit.
Dublin have made three changes to their starting 15 - all three players were introduced as second-half subs in Dublin's opening round win with Josh Bannon and dual players Liam Dunne and Luke Swan starting.
The Royals dominated their opening fixture against Westmeath in Mullingar with the 2-20 to 2-7 final scoreline reflecting their supremacy over the hour.
Goals in either half from Cian McBride and Luke Kelly saw Meath pull away from their opponents and last year's inaugural U17 provincial winners look well placed this year with a strong midfield of McBride and Adam Reilly.
However, home advantage has proven pivotal at underage level in recent years and Meath look strong enough to just about re-enforce that trend.
Dublin (MFC v Meath): S Murphy; J Bannon, A Fearon, A Rafter; R Dwyer, L Dunne, M Lavin; E Adamson, M O'Leary; C Murray, E Cashman, C Hennessy; M Dunne, L Swan, S Foran.
