Goals boost Jude's

Goals proved crucial for St Jude's as they overcame Castleknock by 3-9 to 0-12 in their U16FL Division 7 final in Tymon Park last Saturday.

The foundation for their win was provided by Ronan Farrelly and Jamie Austin while goalkeeper Conor Brady was especially solid.

The home half-forward line of Eoin Mulligan, Carl Sinnott and Graham Carroll were superb throughout while Michael Fitzgerald and Michael Healy also made massive contributions over the hour.

The visitors showed well throughout with James Igoe in fine form from placed balls and full-forward Oran O'Brien chipped in with a brace of excellent scores while Cian Kelly, Eoin Dalton and midfielder Sean Moran were others to figure prominently for Castleknock
