Galway recall Conroy
Paul Conroy is back on the Galway team for Sunday’s Connacht SFC final date with Roscommon.
The long-serving former captain was originally named against Sligo only to make a late enforced withdrawal.
However, manager Kevin Walsh has recalled Conroy at midfield where he will partner Tom Flynn, Peter Cooke making way in the only change.
Meanwhile, there are four changes to the Dublin minor hurling team for tomorrow’s Electric Ireland Leinster MHC quarter-final against Antrim at Dowdallshill, near Dundalk (2.0).
Defender Kevin Byrne along with forwards Pearce Christie, Liam Dunne and Dara Purcell come into the starting 15 from the side that defeated Wexford, 0-16 to 1-10.
Dublin’s U20 footballers will today announce their team to face Wexford in tomorrow’s Leinster U20FC clash in Wexford Park (2.0).
Impressive forward James Madden is not expected to be included as he is currently sitting his Leaving Cert.
