Flynn injury not serious

THE Dublin football camp has moved to allay fears that Paul Flynn could miss the last two rounds of the Allianz Football League.

The two-time All Star suffered a knock towards the end of Saturday night's Division One defeat to Tyrone, with one newspaper report stating that he had torn his hamstring.

However, a Dublin spokesperson told the Herald that Flynn had suffered "just a little strain, nothing too serious" and indicated that the player should be available for their penultimate round clash, against Down in Croke Park this Saturday night with Bernard Brogan also likely to be available for selection.
