Dublin Ladies site gets makeover
REVAMPED website is definitely a sight for sore eyes
THE Dublin Ladies website has got a classy makeover. It's looking swell.
It has a sharper appearance. And it's full of snap, crackle and pop.
It contains more news bulletins than RTE. And there are more pictures than you'd find in the National Art Gallery.
The fresh design also boasts its very own Tweets Factory. It's the room with a view.
The website is very user-friendly. It is bright and there's a welcome sign on the door.
All floors are covered - club and county. Every grade is catered for.
The site doesn't lack bells and whistles, and the essential bread and butter too. Stuff like fixtures, results, tables, contact info and all the remaining data anyone needs to stay on top of ladies football in the capital.
Peter Hickey is happy with the production.
"Thankfully, the reaction has been very positive. Everybody is pleased with it," says Peter.
There's an appealing, glossy feel to the site. And there's an energetic tempo to it. "There's no shortage of items to catch the attention," adds Peter. The younger generation have embraced the technology age with gusto. Nowadays, they carry the whole world in their hand.
There certainly will be no shortage of traffic on www.dublinladiesgaelic.ie
As they used to say in the old Subbuteo ad, just flick to kick.
The DIY folk have done a fine job. Dublin's domain is indeed a site for sore eyes.
