DRA next stop for Limerick appeal
IT'S next step DRA for the Limerick minor hurlers after their latest objection to the outcome of their All-Ireland MHC semi-final against Galway fell on deaf ears.
The Central Appeals Committee last night upheld the original decision of the Central Competitions Control Committee, which last week deemed that it was precluded by rule from hearing Limerick's objection.
The county board is seeking a refixture on the grounds that the referee incorrectly failed to award Barry Nash's point because of a Hawk-Eye error, and will now lodge one final appeal with the Disputes Resolution Authority.
