Daly inspires Treaty
Ian Daly scored 1-6 of Limerick's 1-13 total to earn his side a six-point win over London at the Gaelic Grounds.
Daly grabbed Limerick's only goal, but, despite the early dismissal of Lorcan Mulvey for an off-the-ball incident, the Exiles held their own and were level with Limerick at the break, 0-7 to 1-4. Daly's scoring prowess proved instrumental for Limerick as London's determination left them in the second period.
Gerry Hickey gave Leitrim a great start against Carlow, grabbing all their scores early on to give them a 0-3 to 0-1 at Dr Cullen Park. However, despite a Ray Cox goal, Carlow managed to get back on level terms at the break, with the scores tied at 0-8 to 1-5.
James Glancy's penalty gave Leitrim the advantage, added to by points from Cox and Glancy, who put over a free in injury-time, as a late run of wayward shooting from Carlow meant the visitors took the spoils, 2-9 to 0-13.
Fermanagh dug deep to overcome Clare 0-11 to 0-8 in Brewster Park, with Shane McCabe playing a key role.
Waterford claimed their first victory of the campaign as they trounced Kilkenny 0-21 to 0-2.
