ALAN Brogan has rated his chances of featuring in Saturday's Evening Herald Dublin SFC semi-final clash with Lucan Sarsfields at Parnell Park (3.0) as "touch and go".
The newly-crowned Footballer of the Year is battling to recover from a minor knee operation which has ruled him out of St Oliver Plunkett's/ER's previous two championship wins.
“I'm getting physio on it so it all depends on how well the knee responds to that,” Brogan told the Herald. “It's touch and go at this stage.”
Plunkett's, who are seeking the first Dublin SFC success in their history, made light of Brogan’s absence last time out against St Vincent's when his younger brother and predecessor as Footballer of the Year, Bernard, took the scoring duties alongside 1995 All-Ireland winner Jason Sherlock.
