Dubs to deliver Premier performance

DUBLIN will be seeking their fourth win in the Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Junior Championship when they host Westmeath on Sunday.

They will thread with care. They beat Westmeath in division 3 at Mullingar on a day when the Lake County could only muster a point.

But then in the league final at Edenderry, Westmeath took gold in a very accomplished display

where Pamela Greville and Mairead McCormack excelled.

In the championship, the Blues have beaten Laois away, Armagh at home and Roscommon away.

The Dubs lost their last outing in Down. Dublin, Down and Laois top the table on six points apiece.

This Dublin side have flourished in the last couple of years, and they contain impressive strength in depth.

Dave Dunning and his management crew oversee a highly motivated group, who possess a cluster of richly talented personnel.

Sile NicCoitir, is one of the best 'keepers in the business, assured centre half-back, Michelle Kelly, is a sister of Dublin hurler, Peter, Georgina Kelly can pot them from anywhere on the table, while captain, Elaine Gallery, is class.
