Dublin must beat the reigning All-Ireland champions on their home patch this evening or suffer yet another early summer exit from the All-Ireland SHC Championship.

And a full round of club league fixtures scheduled to be played today across the divisions means Ger Cunningham's team are likely to have a small support base in Semple Stadium in this evening's curtain-raiser.

Dublin have beaten Tipperary just once in the championship - the 1917 All-Ireland final - and the Premier County have ended their championship ambitions in 2011 and '14, the second of which being Anthony Daly's final match as manager.

Cunningham (above) has named an unchanged team from the one-sided victory over Laois last Saturday, with captain Liam Rushe again selected at centre-forward.

DUBLIN (SH v Tipperary): C Dooley; C O'Callaghan, E O'Donnell, F Ó Riain Broin; S Moran, C Crummey, S Barrett; B Quinn, N McMorrow; D Burke, L Rushe, C O'Sullivan; E Dillon, R O'Dwyer, D Treacy.

TIPPERARY: D Mooney; D Maher, T Hamill, J Barry; Joe O'Dwyer, R Maher, Pádraic Maher; B Maher, M Breen; J Forde, Patrick Maher, D McCormack; John O'Dwyer, S Callanan, J McGrath.
